[Fighter Blueprint] Pirate Falcon Vanguard M3 [X3]

While no conclusive evidence has ever surfaced to support claims that the Teladi sell their ships to pirates, it has been observed that a large number of Falcons seem to find their way into pirate hands. Pirate versions of the Falcon are often cheaply modified to sacrifice some cargo space in order to squeeze a bit more speed out of the Falcon's chassis. This little bit of extra speed helps for moving contraband, chasing down vulnerable trade ships, and eluding authorities.

The Energy Bolt Chaingun, usually the favored weapon of choice for the Teladi Falcon, is not typically used by pirates due to the difficulty of sourcing ammunition while on the run. Pirates tend to find themselves forced to mount energy weapons such as the Particle Accelerator Cannon, High-Energy Plasma Thrower, and Plasma Burst Generator in spite of the fact that the Falcon cannot power them to maximum efficiency. Thus, while the Pirate Falcon Vanguard is faster than the standard Teladi Falcon and Falcon Vanguard, it tends to be weaker in combat. Its role is mostly limited to smuggling or preying on vulnerable trade ships, as it doesn't match up well in a fair fight with another M3.

Successful pirates, however, are not known for picking fair fights. Pirates flying Falcon Vanguards avoid what they know they can't beat and wait for easy targets to come along. Despite cleanup efforts by several Commonwealth governments, a large number of these ships still stalk the edges of patrolled space, preying on what vulnerable trade ships they can find.

This build of the Pirate Falcon Vanguard is 200 blocks and is based on its appearance in X3:TC. I knew the block limit was going to be breathing down my neck on this build, but I tried to capture as much as possible of the crude pirate graffiti on the side of the ship.
