I'm a heterosexual white male so I have no idea what it feels like to be a lesbian African-American female. However I can still spot problems within PUBG and the issue of racism. When the game first spawns you in all you hear are racist remarks from a large quantity of people. You can mute this but this doesn't solve the problem. As time passes these racists will gain momentum and become a major problem.

One can blame the alt-right for this growth in racism. The alt-right has been gaining power ever since Trump was elected and it seems our nation is at a divide. It appears Trump’s defense of neo-♥♥♥♥♥ and white supremacists in the wake of Charlottesville was as much a watershed abroad as it was in the United States. It has become harder to publicly back him given his willingness to associate himself with racist American extremists. Trump if given the chance would probably come to the defense of these PUBG racists but maybe that's sometime in the future.

Digital black face isnt new to video games. For years gamers have been taking African-American's identity and have been using it to get away with racism. How can someone accuse someone of being racist if the player is seen as black? It's a tough issue but if game devs can come up with a way to take someones irl race and make sure that it syncs up with in game race then it should be a good deterrent for cultural appropriators.
