I on occasion, see Gold Src ports in Source engine, for Garry's Mod, but they're very thinning in
quanity and can vary in quality. I imagine it takes a lot of work which explains why they show up in once of a blue moon.

someone needs to make half-life alpha and quake in gmod. would be cool because its pretty hard to find half-life alpha and actually make the settings and everything normal-looking.

watching the hl1 alpha maps in quake is just..wow it looks so different the way it has changed

@Sheogorath They didn't "can" this. This is just the alpha version of the game. It is still the same game but it was at the beginning of development so it was very basic.

cool! it looks like many elements stayed the same, like the heavily locked doors, but with much better graphics
