So, you poor sod, you've just played through this blast of a game and you've taken peeks at the workshop. "My god!", I can hear you yelling. Custom levels! What is this madness! Not only are these insanely devoted devs generous enough to give us, well, the game, they also give us modding support?

It's actually really easy and at this point, everything I've said, I'm just writing to make this guide much longer than it needs to be.

Simply go into your steam library and hover over "Games". Select the category "Tools", which should be far down in the list.

Note: Exit out of the game first.

This is going to get advanced. Are you ready?!

Alright, here goes. Find "A Hat in Time - Modding Tools" in the (potentially) long list of game tools.
Then, you press install.
Then you run it.
Boom. Quick mafs.

For those of you who have not already done this, in order to actually play mods in-game, you need to go into the preferences of your game through your library. There, you need to find the "Betas" tab and select "you". Just kidding. There should be an option titled something among the lines of "modding support". This will most likely reinstall your game and reset your in-game settings however it will not touch your save files, so do not worry about those. Now, whilst in game, go into the Escape menu and at the bottom next to "Quit Game" you should find "Mods".
