Introduction

Welcome to my full achievement guide for AER - Memories of Old :)

I tried to sort the achievements. So some achievements are mentioned two or three times. I just tell you, where to find the places for some achievements and won't spoil you, what you have to look for, so you can enjoy the experience ingame! :)

Leave a comment to ask questions, give some hints or corrections or say thank you.

I wrote this guide with searching on my own ingame and with some help of TureAchievements[www.trueachievements.com].

The Settlement's Achievements

Mama?

Get some Lambaby love.
Here's no guide needed. Just walk around the main island and you'll find a Llamba familiy. Land and let them make you happy :)

Antlers of Stone (1)

Find the statue of the deer.

Ripples on the surface (2)

Step into the well.
As it's told, simply step into the well. You find it near to the camp on the big island.

An uninvited guest (3)

Find the Crab Island.
Inside the lake on the marked island.

Hide and Seek (4)

Find Erin when she's gone.
During your adventure, this little girl called Erin will go for her own adventure. She will be anywhere on the big island in The Settlement. But you'll only get the achievement, if you find her at the sky boat (atm). For further information see the chapter "Hide and Seek".

Eastern Steps' Achievements

Condor condo (1)

Find the giant birdshrine.

Written in stone (2)

Find the chiseled stone map.

Tails of Stone (3)

Find the statue of the fox.

King's Pass' Achievements (ip)

In the belly of the beast

Find the bones of an old beast.

Find the ancient battlefield.

Wings of Stone

Find the statue of crane.

Howling Peaks' Achievements (ip)

Gaze into the abyss (1)

Find the dwellings of the rift cult.

Once you're already here: At (2) you'll find the cave of the bear. You need to visit this and to more caves, to get the Attuned to the spirits achievement. For more information look the chapter Attuned to the spirits.

Baa from the past

Find the Ancient Llamba.

Spirit Animals: Caves (Attuned to the spirits)

Attuned to the spirits

Speak to all of the spirit animals.

1) Deer: Inside the cave in Lifla's Grove. You have to solve the little fly riddle to open it. The activation is on the same island as the entrance. This one is story related.

2) Fox: In Iquili's Den in Split Mountain.

3) Bear: In the Beartooth cave in Hollowing Peaks.

Spirit Animals: Statues

1. Antlers of Stone

Find the statue of the deer.

2. Wings of Stone

Find the statue of crane.

3. Tails of Stone

Find the statue of the fox.

To unlock any of these achievements, you need to use your lantern and find the memories on each island.

Hide and Seek (missable)

Hide and Seek

Find Erin when she's gone.

It seemed, the devs fixed this one, so here some hints, found in the comment section:

I actually did find her near the sky boat earlier, but this was before the dad gave me the "quest," so I did not get the achievement then.

So, I think to get the achievement you just have to keep going back to the settlement every time you accomplish something and talk the dad. When he gives you the "quest", find Erin and be happy. :)

Same here - what MissDirect said, I also found Erin over almost the EXACT opposite side of the island from where the Sky Boat is, on a mound, with a black rock that's jutting out of the ground.

Can also confirm what MissDirect and Maya have said. Any other method in the popular guides around don't seem to work after the update, for me at least.

BUT CARE: If you went through all 3 dungeons, Erin returned already and will tell you, what a nice adventure she had. In this case you missed the achievement and have to start a new game.

why Hide and seek is HARDEST achievement? we need A LOTS of photo of her locate otherwise. we are clueless.

Is there a way to find Erin after completing the game? (I had spoken to the father before 'completing' the game and it was knowledge that she had gone missing. But since completing the game I am unable to find any of the characters let alone Erin

I can confirm that the "Hide and Seek" achievement unlocks once you find Erin right after the Archives. Talk to her father first at the camp then head to this location: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1449567455

Regarding Hide and Seek achievemnt, I personally found Erin on the other side of Camp island near a black rock.
I visited the camp regularly after every "major" step, such as visiting the shrines and so on.
After sky boat - this rock was her last location, and what gave me the achievement
here's a screenshot - again, it's located on the other side of the camp island(same island)

In the belly of the beast achievement is in King's pass bigger rock (island) to the right there are big bones and a written stone.
