Egyptians: Food replaces church on early game. First 2-3 techs should be economy, don't be afraid to mix and match (e.g. green 1 and blue 1, blue 2). Can use faith to buy a chicken farm or 2 before tech 3/4. For year 25, should have 3k+ gold income. Either get the 9 Tigers, or go Shrinking Scroll if Armour will be your 6th tech. 25 -30, final investments in economy and just build army thereafter.
Year 40 : passed with either a strong, varied army (2 full pops each archer/druid + tough units, or Armour) or a scroll tech. Same principle for years 50 / 51 though melee is the focus (tigers > druids)
Spare faith points after Year 40: build more faith or mythical e.g. minotaurs (recommended). Even swordsmen / food buildings can help a bit.
you 3peasant cant beat 3peasant because enemy will attack first,
ronnd1 must buy 1 swordsman and 1peasant
I have no clue how building with Faith is of any use. And the Faith bonus from food is ridiculous.
I could only pass the game on Very ?Hard with Celts. These guys have extreme;y strong early-game with free healing and faith. I even banished the devil to get an achievement.
