These following steps will help you to gain an understanding on how to engage an enemy on the battlefield.

1.) Always have the Front of your tank facing incoming fire. This will reduce damage to your armor.

2.) When moving the tank in combat, utilize your surroundings to your advantage. If you are near a structure of some sort. Try to angle your tank behind it and use it as cover from incoming shells.

3.) Aiming is key. When engaging an enemy, it is best to try and hit the back of the tank. This will usually provide you with the most damage inflicted. Try to avoid hitting an enemy head on in an engagement if possible.

4.) Baiting a teamate. I know this sounds screwed up, however if you see an enemy tank engaged on a fellow crew. That is your best time to attack that enemy while he/she is distracted.

5.) Flanking is the best way to get an edge over your enemy. As this game develops and players gain proper knowledge of the maps. This will become much harder to successfully do. Going around the enemy and engaging them from behind will give a devastating blow.

6.) Spacing is also critical when confronting enemy tanks. It is best to be ATLEAST 3 Tank widths apart. This will better your chance to retreat if you get bombarded by enemy shells.

7.) Tank Upgrades.... Grind battles to upgrade your Armor, Gun, and Autoloader first. These are the most critical enhancements when engaging the enemy.
