Cheats for The Evil Within 2 [Wip] (discontinued)

Hello I'm going to tell you how to put cheats in The Evil Within 2.
Note: Achievements will be disabled until you turn the Cheats off.
1. Right click the game title and go to Properties, then Set Lanuch Option, and type: +com_allowconsole 1 to enable the command console in-game.
2. When in Gameplay press the insert key on your keyboard (This will pull up the Console Command) Then type idStudio to enable cheat mode.
3. Cheat Codes
Unlimited Ammo - cvaradd g_infiniteammo 1
First Person - pl_FPS 1
Third Person - pl_FPS 0
Stage Jumping:
Begining - devmapjump st01_main
Middle - devmapjump st02_main
End - devmapjump st03_main
Note: When stage jumping you will lose items and upgrades have you collected.
GiveUnlock - gives all key items in your inventory!
RemoveUnlock - Takes them away.
listcmds * - Lists all commands
Note: type it with the * to show all the commands :)
find * - Find a model, entity, map or command
Note: with this one, replace the * with whatever, you can even type a single letter to show all commands with that letter in it. Go through the abcs to get all of em'

I think if it is at the top of the page, i think its because people actually like to do this and find it helpful. You're the 1% of the 1% complaining about a old cheat AND posting a complaint about a old cheat is "obsolete" and we should "use new methods" isn't a valid argument. Why comment on a game you said that you "generally hate" but decide to waste time and go on a public post that was made over half a decade ago??? If the OP thought it was outdated and not useful anymore they would of deleted it. Clearly previous comments state that cheats are for fun and the post is (DISCONTINUED). I think we know who has poor reading comprehensive here and is just trying to get attention :steamsalty:

I'm also gonna be honest, you shouldn't cheat with console commands, they're ineffective in this day and age. Maybe in Terraria, Gmod, or Minecraft, sure. If you're going to cheat, do it safely with sites like WeMod. Like I already stated (seems your reading comprehension is very poor), you can sign in with Bethesda to get free "cheats" anyway that make the game miles easier. You decide to rag on me for commenting on something left in the public eye instead of simply making the guide private or deleting it, seeing as your cheats are outdated anyway.

So Alan you decide to come to a 7 year old post cheat guide just to tell me to get good or get a job? If you read the comments back then I played the game twice before playing around with console commands. I don't appreciate people coming in here to scold me for using cheats in a single player game. I've have hurt no one in process when going out of my way to make this guide. You don't see me coming to your profile and leaving a negative comment do you? I do have a good paying job (none of your business of what I do) and just to spite you I'm gonna reinstall it and play it again with all my cheats. Imagine scolding someone who has time and dedication and to attend the game they love. :undyne:

seeing as these aren't for achievements, I can't say much, but Jesus, dude, get good or get a job :Keeper:

TEW 2 is MILES easier than TEW, especially on harder modes. You can literally sign in with a bethesda account and get free HP, strength, etc.

or just use wemod? the safest way to use mods /cheats (if you want to ruin your game play that is)

Icarus, stop being dumb. It's cry babies like you who make the community as bad as it is...Cheats can be used in a variety of ways, such is the meaning of them. If you don't like them just don't use them you dumbass

Actually I beat the game twice before even touching the console commands and I just was messing around with it, so I find it insulting that Lord Skonch would assume I cheat right out of the gate. This game is amazing without cheats, but it would be just fun to get everything and go all out sometimes. :praisesun:

I'd also suggest getting the program called WeMod. it enables cheats for all kinds of games and doesnt interfere with achievements. i havent tried it specifically for the evil within 2 yet, but have used it with evil within 1.

evil within 1 is a bad example though, its the only game i ever had issues with using WeMod. for some reason WeMod cause crashes in capter 7 and chapter 8 in Evil Within 1. but aside from that i never had issues with WeMod playing any other game. and as i previously said, it's a perfect method to use cause it doesnt disable achievements.

Evil Within 2 cheats available in WeMod include:
- Unlimited health
- Unlimited Stamina
- Unlimited Ammo
- No Reload
- One Hit Kills
- Add 1k green gel
- Add 1k red gel
- Add 100 weapon parts
- Add 100 high grade weapon parts
- Unlimited components
- Unlimited healing items

Cheats can be enabled / disabled in game thru the press of a hotkey.
