Better Campaign Camera

描述
Hello,

This simple mod allows both closer and further camera heights and makes changes to camera angle. Now you can really admire campaign map before switching to tactical view or take a better look at landscapes and character on zoom.

Check attached pictures for comparison.

Press "K" to turn off UI for more cinematic view,

Press Alt + K to get even more cinematic view of the battle.


If you want customized version of this mod please check below :)


Compatible with:
All patches and mods that do not have camera values included.

Incompatible with:
Multiplayer battles unless other person has the same mod (game engine does not see a difference between small mods like this and big overhauls).

So during battles you pan the camera with WSAD or edge pan, and holding the middle mouse button allows you to rotate the camera angle.

On the campaign map once again you move the camera with WSAD or edge pan, but holding the middle mouse button no longer allows you to rotate the camera angle, but simply provides YET another way of panning the camera?! Wtf...

Does anyone know of any mods that fixes this issue?

This one just changes campaign camera, for Battle camera you need Better Camera mod.

Hey @Thomas / Kam2150 - I apologize in advance for my ineptness... but I too would like to keep the vanilla zoom out on campaign. You lose the "regions" part of the map with the extended zoom out, which is kind of a bummer. I downloaded RPFM and couldn't get it to even open, let alone actually open the modfile, let alone know what the vanilla camera height is... any chance you might consider giving us two a custom file with default vanilla zoom out height? :) Pretty Pretty Please With Cherries on Top?

Hey, just grap Rusted Pack File Manager, copy my file and save it in your Warhammer 2/data folder and rename it, then open it with RPFM and change value for maximum height.
