I would like to mention a few things though-
first, the necromancer doesn't 'turn' into a legion, he summons one. Which is awesome. And godlike. And can be done as many times on a battlefield as there are hands of glory.
Second, never use your main necro to summon units- you know how you have a main and an apprentice to start? Wander over to the gallows, but only use the apprentice to summon those crappy units, save your main necro always. Plus honestly those guys are only good in the beginning, later save your sanity if not your hands and summon actually useful undead. Best strategy i found is to camp one necro on an old battlefield and wait till you have 200 hands, summon, rinse, repeat.
