Quickly Purchase All Shop Items
Purchase MAYAN2012 first and farm a few random avocado halves by repeatedly opening and closing your inventory until they appear. After you have $1000, purchase "SCOG LOTTO" and use the complete word list in the Casino section of this guide to get enough money to purchase the rest of the upgrades.


Farming Packs
To farm packs, setup an autoclicker and make sure you've purchased "BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME". I used "Auto Mouse Click" found on this website: https://www.murgee.com/auto-mouse-click/ After installing the utility, put the game into windowed mode and run the program. Move "Auto Mouse Click" to the left of the game window so that it doesn't interfere with where the cards open on the screen, then change the Delay from 100 milliseconds to 0 milliseconds for fastest farming. Next click on the Pick button to the right of the X/Y coordinates. This will change the cursor to cross-hairs that tell the program where to left click. Click on the middle of the open button twice. Click Pick again four more times while placing the cross-hairs in the middle of the four cards that popped up. Assign a hotkey to stop farming, change the Repeat Count to 50 and click the Start button. If you've set everything up correctly, this should cycle through 50 card packs very quickly and you should be good to set the Repeat Count to much higher (NOTE: Without a lucid reset, 6000 will collect every card pack achievement and net you $100k of sellable inventory to win the game). If it doesn't, you've done something wrong, so you'll need to tweak it and run another 50 card pack trial run until successful. My farming setup before starting my successful trial run:





















Editing "catch.gd"
There are three achievements that depend on manually editing this file. While any text editor can open the catch.gd file, only a few will format the file properly. If you haven't already, I recommend installing notepad++ found on this website: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Next, open your steam directory and navigate to steamapps > common > Microtransaction_Simulator. Once inside the directory, right click on catch.gd and select "Edit with Notepad++" Scroll to the bottom and work your way back up to easily locate the data contained from the last pack opened. Here is a screenshot of the last card pack being opened:
You can edit the value of the card pack to anything you want (8888 and >40000 to get the "Might Number 9" and Impossible achievements, just make sure you also edit the individual card values to numbers that will also add up to the total value (NOTE: Suggested values are 2222, 2222, 2222, and 2222 for the Might Number 9 achievement and 10001, 10000, 10000, and 10000 for the Impossible achievement).

If you are unsure of how to make the catch.gd read-only to get the "Brick your game (intentionally)" achievement, right click on the file itself, click on Properties and select "Read-only" in the attributes category. After removing all data, saving the file, opening the game and getting the achievement, don't forget to go back and remove the "Read-only" attribute to the file or you won't be able to progress in the game.


Hacking a Quick Victory
If you want to cheat your way to a quick $100k to win the game, you can directly edit the value of your money:

Brick your game (intentionally)
Open the catch.gd file in the root directory of the game, delete all the contents, and make the file read-only before starting the game. Alternatively, substantially edit the catch.gd file without changing the file to read-only and simply delete the output_log.txt file in the MicroSimulator_Data folder. (NOTE: Refer to the Helpful Tips section of this guide for details on manually editing the catch.gd file.)

After purchasing "SCOG LOTTO", the Casino button will appear and let you play a minimalist hangman minigame that awards you $300 for every word guessed correctly. While this is useful for quickly purchasing the rest of the shop items, farming card packs with an autoclicker is by far the easiest way to amass the $100k needed to win the game. It is unclear whether the "Apply your knowledge" achievement takes any letter guessed wrong into account or if it will unlock if you simply guess four words correctly in a row regardless of guessing any wrong letters. Therefore, the following list includes every word used in the game with suggested starting letters to avoid making mistakes.
