Starting cash should vary per map. Just keep in mind that rent + overhead cost = X. And you need Y production to offset these cost. If you start slow and only produce a few cars you will eventually run out of cash. Purchasing components might feel like spending cash, but in reality you are just converting cash to goods. Cash you loose on rent and idle employers is gone forever. Don't forget to use a loan when needed :).

Good vid, it gave some new insights to starting up.
How-ever as of writing this(7-2-2018), using stockpiles early on to increase the work rate is something that will break your company.(especially if used in acces as in the video). For a save game with a good income not much of a problem. but early(start) of the game, all the extra imports on the items will break you company.
