How to request coupons

First, select your desired coupons using the Nyan website.[new.steam.nyan.link]

Case A. You want to request only one coupon:

Start a new thread in the Request Forum with the headline:

YourName — CouponName — ModeratorName

The content needs to include the game name, discount and your trade URL (which can be found here).

Example:

Can I request a 90% off coupon for Box Maze, please? Thanks in advance! PUT_YOUR_TRADE_URL_HERE

Case B. You want to request multiple coupons:

Start a new thread in the Request Forum with the headline:

YourName — Multiple — ModeratorName

The content needs to include the game names (preferably one game per line), discounts and your trade URL (which can be found here).

Example:

Can I request a 90% off coupon for Box Maze Sphere Toss 3 please? Thanks in advance! PUT_YOUR_TRADE_URL_HERE

How to check for duplicate requests

If you are not really sure that you requested the game from only one moderator, then you can do the following:

1. Go to the "Coupon Requests" forum
2. Type in the search box the name of the game
3. Press the search button.

In the results page, identify your requests (according to your Steam name) and then check that there is no more than one result for the game you requested, among the threads you created:

Note that it might be useful to remove the filter for the "Coupon Requests" forum (click on the "X" next to the "In sub forum Coupon Requests"), thus running the search for all the existing forums. This will allow you to also see results that are in Pending status (the coupons have been sent by the staff to the members that requested them and are now in a pending state until the users purchase the games).

What to do if you have duplicate requests

You have two options:

Case A. If you created a thread requesting this game only: delete it.

Case B. If the game is part of a multiple request, do not edit the thread. Instead, post a new comment stating which game you would like to be deleted.

Updated the guide to reflect the latest changes regarding the non-editing restriction: if you want to remove a game from your multiple request, just post a new comment stating this and the staff will take care of it.
Also added a note which explains how to search for a thread in all forums (as opposed to restricting the search to the Coupon requests forum only).

Editing is not permitted anymore, how should this be handled now? (#C)

Also, #C does not cover requests maybe being in Pending Requests or Completed Requests. It could be necessary to uncheck the search filter that limits the search to Coupon Requests.
