I believe some of the best pieces of art are created through inspiration. We take what we like to see in life or in games and try to stylize in a particular style or method. Or else you run the risk of making a piece that looks uninspired and decide that it is not good enough. (I've done this before, as have many).

Coridium is a CSGO skinmaker who has been a great inspiration to what I decide to learn and create. Metal is a very complex material to replicate and is something of which that Coridium has beautifully mastered in Zbrush.

I decided that I wanted to take this style to create something unique to Depth. Even though the UDK engine is much more complex than the Source Engine in terms of skin making, I still tried my best to make a piece that had an engraved look.
