Rimatomics adds nuclear power and energy weapons, and a custom research system guides you step by step through most of the features, with a few details being left for you to figure out. The nuclear power system scales from kilowatts to megawatts, with options for combinations of different types of cooling systems, turbines and reactor cores - plus upgrades. To make use of such massive amounts of power, an assortment of energy weapons has been added, microwave area denial systems, tesla coils, high energy lasers, railguns, anti mortar systems, threat detection, drop pod scramblers, many types of upgrade modules, and nuclear weapons.

Starting out
Starting out Go to the rimatomics tab in the normal research menu, you will see a single project, once this is complete you can build the special Rimatomics research bench, you can then access the special Rimatomics research screen via the main button next to standard research, or via the tab when clicked on a rimatomics research bench.

The research projects act as a walk through for everything!

@A Hallucination change how your storage pool is setup. I always set mine to only accept spent fuel that's below 3% life remaining as a minimum. Chances are the pool is set to accept anything at 100% life and lower

For some reason can't nuke anything that's in space like asteroids or space stations while my base is in space
and will enemy factions be able to drop bombs on your settlements?

Is there a way to exclude fuel rods from regular hauling work? I keep having haulers load fuel rods back into the storage pool and my reactors don't get their fuel.

Its a good mod but i would but i would like when a nuclear reactor explodes it would be a bit stronger and more flashy. its a bit lacking in explosions on the reactor.:steamhappy:

@LacertineForest look at the debug log, if you don't know how to access to Rimworld's debug log do a quick search on net. The debug logs will say you why your game crashed. You're welcome.

The game crashes ever ytime I install the Plutonium Processor. I have tested with all other mods and this one is definitely the culprit. Anyone else deal with that issue? I'm sure it's a compatibility issue, but with 250+ mods, I have no way of finding it in a reasonable amount of time.
