This guide will walk you through downloading and enabling my PlayStation Button Prompt mod!

What and who this mod is for...

This mod replaces the Xbox style button prompts that appear in menus and in the game with PlayStation style icons. This is useful for people who play using a DualShock gamepad or third party gamepad and/or those who are used to this button style and layout.

If you find anything seems to be mistakenly left in Xbox format, please to let me know and I will try my best to resolve that.

NOTE

Some languages may not be supported.

Confirmed working:
- English
- Spanish
- German
- French
- Italian

Other languages require testing and confirmation.

Downloading Modded Textures

My modded textures are hosted on Github. You can download them at the following link.

New Version (data_win32)

Download the latest version on Github![github.com]

Instructions: Download the latest release from Github and extract the data_win32 folder into your game's directory (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Qwant2).

Please report any bugs you notice with this mod in the comments, and be sure to get a screenshot of bugs if possible.

- Removed multi-game functionality in favor of data_win32 drop-in method.
- Special thanks to Surihix for providing the textures for this mod pack and putting it together.

- Now works with STORM 1, 2, and 3. No need for separate packs.
- Found a few missed references to Xbox gamepads and corrected them.

have tried turning on/off Steam input but it simply don't work, it loads till 100% and then it's just a black screen and then crashes

I also don't know why this might happen. You may want to try turning on/off Steam Input, whichever it is not currently set to now. That may improve stability.

so whenever i extract the file and put it in the folder and run the game it just crashes idk why

Hey, AgustY.

The only thing that could cause this is files being in the wrong place. Ensure everything is where it belongs. In your STORM 2 folder (Qwant2), once extracted, you should have a data_win32 folder there.

Unfortunately, I'm at the point where this info isn't very helpful to me (at least not in regards to resolving it). I would instead need to know the actual texture file that is not updated instead of where incorrect prompts appear in-game.

Alongside that, when you’re idle and it gives you prompts to open the start menu or regional map it still refers to the START button and the BACK button

In the pause menu, the button to go back to the game mode select is still labeled as the BACK button when on Playstation it should be the touchpad button
