Hello! By clicking on this guide you must be somewhat interested in how to increase visibility, remove blur, and have better graphics in battlegrounds!

You can figure out how to do this by 2 different ways. One you can check out my youtube video on my channel or two you can simply read the rest of this guide!











So before we just right into how to increase visibility, remove blur, and have better graphics in battlegrounds you must know what Reshade is.

Reshade is essentially a program that adds post processing effects to your game. It is mainly used for screenshots, cinematic videos, and montages. However in this case we will be using it to just brighten out game up.

An example of Reshade and how it will look in the end is below:


Before you however decide to use this for all of your games. Please find out if it is allowed by asking a developer or researching on the forms. Many communities have an anti-hacking software built into their games and Reshade will be picked up by that program and you could be banned.

As far as battlegrounds I have done some research and as shown by the photo below, Playerunknown has stated that we are allowed to use Reshade for Battlegrounds.


Now without holding back any longer let me show you how to install Reshade!

So too start off you want to click the link below which will direct you to the Reshade website.

Click the purple "Download" button which will bring you down to the bottem of the page to download the newest version of reshade. Once you have downloaded reshade, run the program.

A window should pop up that says "Select Game"






Click "Select Game" and find the directory for your game. For most people it will be located below:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64










Once you find the files shown above select TslGame.exe.

After that you must select your rendering API. Click Direct 3D 10+.





Simply click "Yes" to the next 2 messages.

Now you want to select any effects you want to install into the game. (You can enable/disable them later in this guide). Personally I recommend Clarity, Colorfulness, LumaSharpen, and Vibrance.















Once you have selected the effects you want, click Okay and close out of the window.

You have now successfully installed reshade!

Now that you have installed reshade open Battlegrounds.

Once battlegrounds is open press SHIFT + F2 and you will see a window pop up

















Press the + symbol at the top right and type a name for the new preset you are creating.





After this you just need to select the effects you have chosen by clicking the box next to each name. After that press SHIFT + F2 again and the window will minimize.

If you ever want to remove these effects you can press SHIFT + F2 again and uncheck them.

Now everytime you start Battlegrounds the effects will automatically load and you will be good to play Battlegrounds.
