Merlotte's Bar and Grill, this is my special cut from the True Blood. I added an outdoor patio deck with a small performance stage and lighting.

this is a 3X3 level 1, low density commercial growable asset.

Hey - king leno used your asset in his city ... it looks fantastic.
You are asset is after m8inute 24 (in case you don't want to watch the whole video but it is worth watching it.

@Overlord I just let 3ds max to cookie cut my textures map with its default settings and bake them to a point where sharp details (eg. bricks, logos, text) in 1st person cam mode (walking or driving in car) can be seen. Some textures are duplicated e.g. windows/doors.I'm using 3ds max's default UV mapping setup, because that's all the videos i've seen suggest, no vidoes go into special techniques of efficiency on buildings that have geometry to them, instead of just being a rectangle with some props lol. All the tutorials on youtube are from before afterdark was released or leave questions unanswered.

So basically if I can learn way to make my texture maps tighter, i can definitely reduce the size of files without having to compromise detail quality. I can learn to keep my bricks looking like bricks, logos and text legible at 1st person. I tried blender, but I kept running into issues with my asset not loading into the game.

Your collection of growables is really awesome. Can you explain me one thing please? Why the assets are 6-8mb+ when other growables are about half of the size? I dont know anything about modelling and creating assets in software like Blender for the game thats why I ask. I'm assuming it is the texture thing like 1024x1024 2048x2048 etc.? If it is possible I think you could create your growables in lower size I think that the difference wont be that huge and your assets will still have great quality even with lower textures.
