Personally I'd like more of a solo friendly approach to air combat (I dislike Indar and Esamir for the fact they reward zergs more generously, air and ground) but PS2 is always about the team tactical plays (or the zergs), and if I were masochistic enough for War Thunder, then *maybe* that may be my only viable alternative.

Switching between third and first person is pretty common too, depending on if you need more awareness or accuracy.
The moment I stepped into Mosquito, it felt like a world of difference.
People are always dodging me really easily and moving far more agile than should be possible and still keep their gun on me.
Then I lose momentum because if I aim upwards, I can't stay in mid air.
I hate infantry, so I want to fly air. See my war thunder play hours.
Being locked into cockpit view makes seeing anything really damned hard
