Typically 11x5x17 WxHxD

The Width is the only hard dimension as you can be a bit more flexible with the height/depth but too much over will result in that dimension jutting out. jdrafton's XL series of modules tends to be a bit taller to squeeze a bit more usable space. Also, once you get the hang of docking the modules you can attempt to be a little more creative with the pilot seat as you can eyeball the docking in 3rd person so long as you can line up the centre-line and forego the first person docking guides/assists.

anyone know the dimensions of the module slots? planning on making a ship with a friend and we want to add modules

Pretty cool add on to Torrent. Now I can repair Torrent fully on the way and use static bay for my explorer ship!
