ZAHJ2 - Admin Ship

Designed to survey and monitor large areas. Often fitted with large spotlights and a high degree of automation to keep the amount of time required in the flight seat minimal.

All major functions can be controlled from button panels on the bridge.
All critical information is available on LCDs around the bridge.
Ladder that can be reached from the ground (without a jetpack) for boarding.

Admin ships are occasionally used for Search & Rescue operations due to their high thrust / weight ratio, high flight endurance, and ample spotlights. The four large landing gear also aid in recovery of vehicles and equipment, enabling the ship to lift stranded vehicles to safety. The comfortable quarters for the operator mean the ship can stay on station to aid in search and rescue efforts for extended periods of time.

They are also well suited to C4I and cybernetic warfare in military operations, as they have a vast amount of unused computing power and surplus timers. The dual antennas and dish combine to give the ship excellent long range monitoring and relay capability. As such, they have also seen use as communications relay systems in times of emergency.
