As I'm typing this review, it has been my 9th hour into the game, yet so far I've had only words of delight for this game. Child of light is a single-player RPG setting following the adventures of Aurora, a girl who has been lost in a fairy tale-like land. Its game-play, as I embark through the world, has astounded me with its beautiful water-colour-like backgrounds and character designs. In fact, each character deviates individually. (accent-wise too) The music of the game comes with absolute finest, especially during the boss battles.

The combat system of the game shares similarity with other RPGs, in spite of that the turning animations along with a 2D/3D like-stage really enhances the game well. You're also able to switch back and forth between various characters. Lastly, the story-telling style of the game has been very heart-warming, it really captures the light and atmosphere that Aurora under went as she travels with her friend, Igniculus. In my humble opinion, a game such as COL comes by once in a blue moon and definitely by all means do check it out. (They even drank potions like goddesses)
