I saw you commenting on a guide to make Quake 4 look good, the menu will always be like s_hit, and if you check the graphic config in-game it always be telling you that you are on medium and low resolution, thats fine, the tweaks on the config files doesn't reflect on the in-game options but as soon as you change and option in-game all the tweaks on the file will be overwriten, thats why you couldn't get it done
