This is fantastic throw back to the 16-bit era of platforming games, married with the building satisfaction that can only be found in games like Minecraft. Throw on top of it, a great gear based power progression and you have the makings of a game that'll suck DAYS worth of time away from your life. It's fantastic and it only keeps getting better.
