Flesh monsters scare me but the funny scottish voices make me feel better while I'm drowning.

After a very rocky start, Darktide has proven to be a very enjoyable game by providing many different ways to play thanks to the class skill trees and a great improvement on systems that were in Vermintide 2. A must buy for Warhammer fans and horde shooter players alike.

Gameplay felt very slow with no action at all. Played 1 map with 2 other people and the whole time I didn't feel a smile form. Hell, I didn't even feel a smirk.

I'm not a big fan of Hack and Slash games, a reason why I stopped playing DMC5 near the end. There were just too many combos for me to memorise to achieve an SSS rank. However when I heard that Hi-Fi RUSH was a Hack and Slash RHYTHM game, my curiosity was peaked. I watched gameplay for the first level and, oh boy, I was hooked.

From my 6hrs so far, I love ALL the characters you interact with. All their personalities are likeable and even the villains are likeable. To name a few without naming them, you have;
-Handsome Jack wannabe
-Pissed off female wrestler
-Overdramatic Jojo fan

As you can tell from those descriptions alone, this game's comedy is on point. Every joke and quip is well timed and not overdone.

The combat and combo system is so much EASIER to understand than games like DMC5. Attacking to the beat of the music to signify when to attack is such a great design that helps out new players and still a joy for Hack and Slash veterans.

Overall opinion: FINISH THIS GAME (I haven't even finished it yet and I'm still saying to finish it)

Cute girl climbs mountain because she, quote, "needed to do this" and then falls asleep and causes my emotions to combine into one after 1401 deaths in the free DLC chapter.

I played Super Meat Boy a long time ago on the Xbox 360, so I already had SOME experience with hard platformers. But oh my god this game is hard IF you make it hard. There is nothing forcing you to make the game harder, there is just the option. The whole feel of the game is constantly encouraging you to give it another try, and I never got to the point of screaming my lungs out at that damn final chapter, because I never gave up, and the game encouraged me to not give up.

Solid 9/10 - Aside from my controller mis-inputing a few dash directions, the controls are on point. BUY THIS GAME!

I'm going to scream so hard my own lungs will wanna jump ship and find a new body because I'll be damned if I'm playing the game again on Hard.

You wanna just kill stuff with a sword and feel cool, just play Easy or Normal. Game good.

It is illegal to play this game on any day that isn't Halloween.

(yeah it's good but play it around spooky time)

Cayde-6 is the best character and you cannot change my mind.
