Spec Ops: The Line may not have the most revolutionary gameplay and nobody is on the multiplayer. But that's not what this game is about. The story is only about 6-8 hours depending on the difficulty and if you want to get all the intel and endings. But the story is insanely good. All the character arcs and pacing is perfect. Visually it is actually quite solid at times. I highly reccomend anybody to atleast try this game but don't go into it knowing anything. It is quite the ride.

This is a good game. It feels kind of dated and has glitches but it does have some redeeming factors. The mechanic that lets you go many different places and paths by exploding the walls is cool but in all the later parts it is linear without that ability. This can cause gameplay to be kind of generic. Plus, the stealth sections kind of suck. It's not that they are overly conveluted and hard like other games that incorporate stealth when they shouldn't have (Time Splitters 2 comes to mind) but they are just kind of boring. There is good weapon variety and good controls it is still pretty fun overall and I would still reccomend picking up on a sale.
