Have you seen the "The Demo Knight" production by OneMoreUser?
It's the new, dark, live-action batman movie, but with TF2 characters.
It uses Source Film Maker masterfully. You won't have a hard time finding it on a search engine.
I don't think science cares to explain how you get all that legendary stuff in your TF2 backpack. I'm sure you could change the world if you applied your skills properly.
