In my honest opinion, CS2 is the best first-person shooter ever. On paper the game ist kinda simple, yet you need so much skill to be good at the game. I think what CS2 does best, is that any action you do is fair and I don't see that in other games like Valorant, which I've also played for many hours on.
In comparison to both FPS games, CS2's pacing is much quicker than Val. In addition, the utility of Valorant itself is a little unfair. Some flashes/blinds and smokes are more powerful than others. In CS however, it's all based on skill.
Even if I miss the old 30 round matches or the old rank system in competitive, I still understand that some things need to be changed to keep CS up-to-date.

One thing I'd like to point out is that I'm still upset that VALVe still hasn't added any missing content from CS:GO. Cache, DZ and other Wingman maps (e.g. Train & Cobblestone) are things I still miss on a personal level.
The last major content drops I've seen are the CT price changes, Zeus rework, volumetric smokes, CT-molly change, charms and a few map overhauls. All the other updates were features from CS:GO like the rarity outline of the weapon's preview and left-right handedness. The rest have something to do with skins.
Speaking of left-right handedness, I dislike the changes VALVe did to some thing from CS:GO, like net_grpah and aforementioned left-right handedness.

Simply said, I see CS2 as the time Blizzard released Overwatch 2, but it's an update, rather than having a different game-ID. Yes, CS2 has neat changes to problems from CS:GO, however there are still so many things that are missing.
I still like the game, but it's still has a hole to be filled to feel like an upgraded version of CS:GO.

This game is such a nightmare. The weapons are unbalanced, every weapons reloads are not perfectly timed, when you get a prize, you have to receive it first for some reason??? The game overlays everything, so you can't even ALT + TAB out of the game. Last but not least, it's a pay to win game, everything costs something, even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GRENADES.
Don't play this game ever. Just install CS2, they're basically the same ♥♥♥♥.

Even if the game dead rn, would recommend, once the game is actually done. 8.7/10 today, 10.8/10 release of ver. 1.0.0.
