This game is good in its genre, i think this game will slowly catch up to positive reviews and will start getting the love it needs, if and only if the developers listen to the community.
This game have potential, but there should be option to tune steering choices between too arcadish to semi-arcade. Because some vehicles feel like i m pressing keyboard on controller (like the first street car unlocked) which is weird, some vehicles feel better (like the starter muscle).

Playing online is fun, with AI bots their driving behavior is predicted, so it makes driving for players passive and boring, but when its online, your best friend can crash on you in last second to snatch the victory, can all you can do it laugh about it.

One thing i like is the crashing part, the physics is there, even when AI Bots hits each other or objects, the traffic bots, its there, which looks and feels good.

I believe they can fix this game, its because they had developed earlier near 2016 "Dangerous Driving" game and this was supposed to be sequel to that calling it 2 but then i am sure they got a studio/production company (thq) to produce it so thq changed its name.

This game is fun, but some optimization is needed to remove stutter, freezing, lag.
Note - The map is not at big as some people claimed on youtube. its moderate, big enough but not big.

Also, steering wheel support is needed over time, i wish developers can because this is new game, its not from 2010 where steering wheels were rare.

I will wait for 1 week to 10 days to see if there are improvements, patches and commitment from developers to see where its headed.

What a poorly optimized game. And it comes from very experienced Nacon and KT Racing teams which are veterans. If you want to design games only for 2000+ Dollar GPUs then good luck.
The driving feel is like very old sim games, which were not even actual sims, reminds me of some very old handling memories.

Steering wheel support is not very good, customization option is very bad. Have to figure out the inputs by ourselves as half of inputs cannot be customized.

Force feedback strength is like 500% by default and there is no option to change it in-game.

To fix the FBB i lowered it in the Manufacturer software and boom it works well, i have set my Thrustmaster's control panel max force feedback to 20% and 15-30% is recommended from my experience. It will depend upon wheel's max force strength. I prefer to use soft steering in arcade racing games for instant quick turns.

Note - There is option to fast travel anywhere on map with the key (X on Xbox controller), mark the event, set route, then use left thumbstick Left/Right and you will see the Marker will change to "Teleport" and vice versa.

It makes the game easier to play.

I recommend mid settings between drift and grip for most races. Maxed grip dont help in turning and slight drift at tuns helps car turn faster. I also toggeled "Initiate Drift" with brakes, so i set slight drift with braking, it helps in turning car easily.

For Graphics tweaks and handling tweaks, i recommend using UNITE mod with Frosty Mod Manager.

I personally don't use handling tweak, i like the in-game handling.

For some reason, this game still feels better than Unbound. The last good title is HEAT, its one of the best ones i would recommend.

Easy slow paced village life simulator. Nothing very complex in the game, except assigning villagers tasks, arrange for their food, once you learn that in 10-15 hours, its another grinding game. You start the game with grinding wood, then to higher tier materials. Its same grinding game as others just with different graphics and story. If you choose to not grind or upgrade anything, there is nothing left in the game. Story quests are just running between cities.

Cannot run it on a 3060 laptop. Tried every Anti Aliasing, other settings, only the last one looks best, but hey it gives 40 fps at 99% gpu usage lol. Reducing graphics to medium, 70% barely gives 60fps constantly at 1080p from Cabin Camera, The 3rd person camera gives 15% more fps for some reason. The map looked extremely boring, repetitive empty terrain auto generated most probably.
Trucking game should not be a AAA title like demanding. It might look very good in 5070 and above gpu at 1440p but its really heavy.

Probably one of top 5 best open world games in last 5 years, probably ranked 1 for me.
Cyberpunk 2077 is also in the same list, probably ranking 2nd because of no online co-op feature.

Refunded it long time ago. As expected, 1 year and no updates.
Small map and nothing good to do. Very mediocre game for its price, for the same price i can buy "Snowrunner" which supports 4 player coop/multiplayer/solo and have 100 times better mechanics, gameplay, graphics, i mean you name it snowrunner 100 times better in anything.

If they put the game on 75% sale, then only people like me will buy only for collection purpose.

Update - Nvidia Update 580.88 released on 31 July 2025 mentions fixing Dirt 5 crash on startup.
Looks like Graphics driver fault, not developers. They have fixed it finally after months of people complaining.

Cannot even launch the game to load main menu.
I played this game few minutes a year ago then stopped.
Now i want to play again, on same OS of windows (no format or system change) and cannot launch it.
Its commendable how a game which didn't receive update in last 4 years got bugged.
All the developers had to do was not do nothing so that people can play the game.

Purchased to give NEGATIVE REVIEW. Take my money, premium edition was not enough money for a failed game.
Look at yourself, failed to design, develop, distribute it, then want people to blindly buy addons after purchasing premium version. LMAO. DOUCHBAGS.

When i paid money for it, why its not available for free when starting the game?
why i have to pay currency in the game to buy it even 1st time? what a jerk move.
1st purchase should be free in the game store.
