I have been out of the multiplayer space for about a decade now, but something about this has just brought me back to it. A little over 140 hours later and I'm still having a blast.

There are some gripes of course - menu systems are funky, disconnects for party members from matchmaking at times, some of the maps are a bit too tight for my liking. But overall this has been a solid launch and some post launch fixes (especially some of the incoming ones) will make it better. I want to see some more large scale maps and some more expansions to the battle royale mode.

Recommend just picking up RedSec to give it a try if you're unsure, but Escalation is where it's at in the full game.

I really wanted to get into this game and seeing it was steam deck verified was great, until it skips all the cutscenes and the audio crackles all the time through the intro/some scenes. Really disappointed they haven't fixed this or at least didn't say it was steam deck verified.

I actually got a couple hours in and felt like....this isn't going to be for me, why am I getting myself into another generic open world game? But it really surprised me after I got about 5 hours in, things started to open up - the systems started to make a lot more sense.

I'm not a great review writer, so I'll just say - good graphics, neat mechanics, somewhat similar style to other action adventure games of this type but has some neat things it does on its own. Ben Starr is a great voice choice for this one, although it's hard not to think Clive is in the game the whole time.

I was not into this at first because I'm used to the plop building down, things just happen style of game. After about 45 hours of playing I'll say this is the standard for what city builders need to be in the future.

Loved this one, a unique but familiar type of platformer. The narration was really top notch!

Don't trust the clearly paid for positive reviews. This came alongside 10 other Asset Flip/Garbage. Idk how Valve allows this game on here.

How this is positive in reviews is beyond me. Broken mess of a boring experience. Don't waste your time or money.

What an awesome little game! I got this in a bundle and I can't believe how addicting it was. Absolutely recommend it!

Best in the series so far, I like some of the new features and the game runs butter smooth on my RTX 2070 Super. I've been a long time Tropico fan and this has been by far the best of them all.

After playing for a bit now and getting a feel for things:

Would like to see:

- Better trade information. This menu seems so simple for such a complex part of the economy. Would like expanded information on the resource and maybe cross comparison of the value of the goods that go into making that resource. For example show me what Tobacco is going for alongside the selling price of Cigars.

- RTX support would be awesome, would make this game shine!

- Workshop items, UI, etc. Like Cities Skylines has - some of the community can make the game really feel expanded.

- More resource options, more farms, more ranch types, more fishing options and ways to process those resources.

- Better economy panel in general - really would like to see all the jobs and their current budgets to know if I need to set certain budgets at an easier glance. Maybe something to show me the cost of each building.
