This game is my most played game on steam. I absolutely adore this game. Now I'll admit, the DLC practices are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but they go on sale often enough to make it worth picking them up, and now that you can get the base game AND the best DLC (the old gods) for free, it's definitely worth a play. Just those two items alone are fun enough to play, and the only other DLC's i'd say you NEED are Conclave and Way of Life, the rest is all optional

That being said, this is one of my favourite games, and it's one of the best sandbox crime games out there, if not THE best. Unfortunately, this port is complete sh!t, but the aformentioned mod fixes all the bugs as far as I'm aware. Way better than 3 or 4, definitely play this game.

They look ugly as ♥♥♥♥. I would request western slavic portraits but they'd proabably look ugly too.

A great little film that really captures the essence of the great little game it's based on.

WARNING: This review does contain spoilers for the plot, but they are censored.
I think I'll list the good things about SUPERHOT before getting into my main critisisms.
The good

• Graphics
  The graphics are sleek, minimalistic and heavily stylised. They get the job done well and remain thematically consistent with the rest of them game and with the theme of 'Loss of Individuality' and 'disconnection from reality'. They won't be melting any minds or graphics cards, but they stay effective, and will still look good for a number of years.
  
• Gameplay
  Holy balls this gameplay is good. If you've heard anything about this game, it's probably about the unique time mechanics. This is the foundation of the entire game, and if you don't like this one mechanic, you'll probably hate the game. That won't be an issue for most people, because it makes for some of the best shooter gameplay i've played in a while, and it really makes you feel like a badass. I give a solid 10/10
  
• Story
  The narritive is so heavy on the meta, you could cut it with a knife (or a katana in slow-motion). The game starts with a fictional 'player' (the guy you're playing as) getting a hacked alpha for a game, from a different 'player'. What ensues is a series of fun levels, interconnected by segments of conversations with the other 'player' and the evil AI controlling the game. Overall, the plot should be interesting enough to hold your attention for the 1-2 hours the campaign lasts.
  
  The bad
  
• The length
  You read that right, 1-2 hours. That's pretty much the most the campaign will last anyone. Of course, there are numerous challenges to attempt, but they all invovle doing the same levels in the campaign, but to certain modifiyers and parameters. I enjoy them, but they won't be for most people. For some reason, I have the achievement for completing all the challenges, but this is not true. It'll probably take at least 30 hours to complete all of these, but that's just an estimation. This content is pretty repetitive, and certainly isn't worth the price.

• The price

  At the moment, SUPERHOT is £17.99, which is roughly $22. I don't know how much it's being sold for in USA, but it's probably around the same price. This is too much for what we got, and with the reallocation of the VR gameplay to a seperate game, that'll be a turnoff to those proud few owners of VR headsets.
  
  Summary
  The price vs length is the only real turnoff for me, so if you can get it on sale, it's a must-buy. If you can't find a good discount, here's a code that I promise won't give you a virus. ;) https://superhotgame.com/discount/
  If you can find it at a good price (closer to $10 rather than $20) then you must get this game. If it wasn't for the large pricetag, I'd give this game a 9/10.
