A fun little metroidvania. Nowhere near as large as Hollow Knight, but still worth playing. And yes, Hollow Knight comparisons are becoming a curse that it will take a long time for metroidvanias to escape from... but Haiku the Robot is definitely inspired by Hollow Knight, in a good way! :D

The worst kind of puzzle game: the kind where it tells me the objective every 15-30 seconds.

Yes I KNOW what I need to accomplish, now SHUT UP and let me think and experiment.

Also the physics are a bit janky sometimes, which compounds the earlier frustration.

Amazing exploration game. 10/10, a must play.

Also, you can play the Outer Wilds in VR using the NomaiVR mod, which I highly recommend for the additional immersion.
Either way, this is an experience worth experiencing for yourself.

If all this game had to offer was it's VR mechanics, I would not recommend it. Not that it's unplayable—far from it—but definitely below average. This game is so much more than that though—it has Borderlands 2, one of the best games every made. Borderlands 2 is well worth playing, and it is worth replaying in VR. Definitely not worth $50 to replay however. Maybe if this if your first time playing BL2. Maybe.

Pretty much a must have if you have VR. So useful.

VR is amazing.

This game is amazing. This is the potential of VR, realized. If you have a VR headset, you need to play Half-Life: Alyx. If you don't have a VR headset—think about buying one?

Edit: Now that I have finished the game, I have to say... do yourself a favor and play Half-Life 2 and the episodes first... because blood and darkness, what an ending.
