Ya know, like everyone else - I was super excited for this game..

When it came out? It felt like we were back! Everything was great and such a good time!

Fast forward to now? I stopped playing because it felt like a job ontop of my work, lack luster support for the title, and just general un-fun experience this has now become..

They wanted to topple CoD, but more or less became a better CoD..

Guess I'll check this game back out some other time, maybe it'll be fun again towards it's end of life..

Just wish a name like Battlefield could have done more with the hand it was given.. Instead of trying to be just the "Better Call of Duty"...

Honest Opinion: Wait for this to have a year or two more, then maybe check on it.

I have played this on and off since release and each time it just gets better (with mods of course).

But as of late, I found it being my go to game. Be it the Servers I have been on, the game updates, mods, whatever - It all feels good.

I hope we carry this going into A4, especially with the ability to customize kit to whatever we need it to do... I do miss blowing apart buildings though.

10/10 - Re-finding my love for ArmA.

ODST meets MI - And lots of explosions, ape brain happy.

All I can say is I am excited to see how this game progresses.

Engineer Trooper who can call in Marauders? Power Trooper? I can't wait to see where this goes!

I played it back in it's initial Alpha and was not happy with the issues (Alpha duh).. But outside of that, good solid fun!

From a Metal Gear Solid fan:

Is this a Metal Gear game? It’s a spin-off, non-canon game. Much like Rising/Revengence, it’s essentially just a Metal Gear themed game.
Does it suck? No it’s actually quite fun. I’ve participated in the betas on the PC and Xbox and spent a lot of time on both. It left a lot to be desired and even with that, was just pure fun.
I will say, my biggest gripe thus far is the fact the food and water system seems jacked. You’re always hunting for food and water with it constantly draining at a considerable pace. “You’re not big boss.” No we are not, but we are a trained soldier in his army.. Does this not constitute any sort of survival training and the ability to survive with limited resources?
“Should I buy this game?” Disregard your hate for Konami actions with the whole Hideo fiasco. Again, it’s a THEMED game not to be taken for a canon game. Should you buy? It’s up to you. Watch videos, make your own opinion instead of listening to the toxic and negative people out there. Do I stand by Konami? No, but did they deliver a decent game? Yes and not at full price.
“Microtransactions??!?!?” Yes, but it’s not as bad as you think. You can EASILY overlook this and skip over them. They are not needed to play the game and have fun. I see them as an “easy way out” for those that do not wanna take the game for what it is.
