I adore how all of the characters in this entire story are written. It is wonderfully done and I feel like I'm interacting with actual friends and neighbors.

Derek's Story hit me really hard with some lessons I needed to learn about myself. It's okay to want to make people happy, but you need to take care of yourself, too. Life has its ups and downs, and it's okay to fail at something. You don't have to be perfect or set unobtainable goals -- take things at your own pace! Make reasonable milestones, be proud of yourself when you reach one, and then make a new one! There are people all around who love you and will be there to support you and cheer you on. It's okay to let someone else do something nice for you. ***It's okay to love yourself.***

I have thoroughly enjoyed Our Life. My first time through, I couldn't stop crying from how emotional the story and character interactions made me feel. I got just as emotional my second time through when I started exploring different options and personality aspects for the OC when interacting with everyone. Come playthrough number three, I was a little more steeled, but I still ended up shedding some tears. It felt so good to cry it out and be comforted by these characters as I was able to reflect and sort through my own feelings from personal experiences and traumas. I've never had a game give me such a healing experience before. Thank you.

The writers did a fantastic job of making the characters feel real. They did a fantastic job of letting the OC feel real -- and customizeable by the player for a more personally-tailored experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed each reading and the experiences that come with them, and I am eagerly anticipating more as it becomes available.
