Without Reason 最近的评测

It's a good start. However, in it's current state, the game lacks depth and grows very repetitive after only a few hours of gameplay. Imperator Rome boats of hundreds of different nations to play as, but almost all of them play the exact same (even Rome lacks diversity). Since this is a Paradox game, they will continue to support it and update it over time. I'd say wait and see how they improve the game before spending money on it.

This is an incredibly relaxing city-builder survival game. You start out with a group of families that you must feed, house and clothe or else they will die. You build homes to keep your people safe, hunters and fishers to keep them fed and you must make sure that they have firewood and clothes to keep warm with during the hard winters. If you have ever played Dwarf Fortress before this is the same basic concept but with stunning graphics and simplicity that DF lost long ago.

For those hardcore DF fans out there this game probably isn't for you. While it looks great and is a ton of fun to play it lacks the complexity that made DF such an engrossing and challenging game. But those of us who saw DF's extreme detail and complexity and shied away, this game fits the bill perfectly. It is a pre-industrial city builder that is automated and simple enough to make sure everyone can learn to play it but challenging enough to keep you on your toes (seriously, don't take this game lightly, it will come back to haunt you during the winters).

As this review was written just after the game launched, and no mods (that I know of) have been released yet, it's hard to give this game a solid something/10 score. Mods are what made DF such a fun game for me and I really can't imagine playing DF without the Masterworks Modpack and I'm sure that a few months from now there will be mods that dramatically improve this game in multiple ways.
