Hex: On The Beach 最近的评测

Look, is it a perfect game right now? No. Is it frustrating as hell when you encounter bugs? Sure. But is it worth it? Yeah for sure.
It does feel like they hadn't quite finished when the game was released but that's fine, I am sure it was just pressure from publishers.
I LOVE the story, the characters and the script, the acting is great and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. The only thing that let it down were the bugs. It is clear a lot of love and effort went into this project.

It is also a bit short.

To put it bluntly - this is a bad game. It feels unfinished and unpolished - to the point that an NPC fluffed his line and re-did it, which would be funny if the rest of the game wasn't so slow and clunky.

Combat is terrible. Ok, so Tris is a cartographer, fine, he is no swordsman, but that doesn't excuse the awful camera movement and clunky controls.
The skill tree and attributes are unnecessarily complicated and hard to level up. I just want to learn how to craft or fight - why do I have to have gold AND certain attributes??
The graphics and animations are awful. I feel like I am playing a game from decades ago. The textures are off, the faces are uncanny valley levels of ick, and why even have them move their mouths if they won't match even a vague sense of what the NPC is saying?
No map for a while I could deal with, but this is ridiculous. I have been playing for 8 hours at time of writing - I have even MET ANOTHER CARTOGRAPHER. But still, no map, no markers. just wandering blind. My character is sick, the screen is going weird bc of it, but do I know where there is a doctor? NOPE bc the game has yet to offer one up, and there is no map to show me the city and its services.
I am only playing for work, but if I bought it myself I would demand a refund and then some.
