Will, if you use TrueCrypt, back everything up: Headers, the volumes, whatever. Headers should be fine forever, but the volumes themselves are nice to back up periodically.

I almost lost >1000 files, and even though I have salvaged most, I still lost some things that are replacable but inconvenient to lose.

When using hidden volumes, take care. If you bloat the 'open' volume too much, the hidden volume will get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up real bad, up to nigh-insalvability. Bad things.

Seriously. Do it. Right now. Not sure if you use it, but if you do, do it. Really.

I got Ubuntu to work! This is sent from Ubuntu, by the way. I'm going to install some software, configure some things, and then I'm probably starting Windows again. Definitely a good OS though, I think I'm going to use this a lot.
