I will preface this by saying I have been using the Gaijin launcher since Steam screwed up a while back. I probably have around 400 hours played.

The combat itself is fine. Great even! Sure, there are weapons that are stronger than others but that will be the case in any combat/fighting game. It's not something unique to this game so I won't dwell on it. The freedom to create pretty much any vehicle you want was a big draw for me and I did plunk down some money to be able to build what I wanted faster. I felt the cost was justified at the time.

Where this F2P game goes wrong is that there is no way to introduce new coins (the currency of the game) into the playerbase without someone spending real cashola to buy them. As a result, the players that did spend that cash to buy those coins are pretty frugal with them. Also, every market transaction (there is no player trading) takes 10% of the sale price as a fee. Those coins are permanently gone. Also, if you craft, you will eventually have to extend the life of your crafting bench, which are more coins permantly gone from circulation, upgrading items also takes coins... I think you see the problem here.

A constantly dwindling coin supply with no in-game way to renew them is not a good model. Everyone is crafting items for the market to try to earn coins but few people have the coins to purchase items. It's a mess.

If an NPC were added to buy low level items or if the daily quests added new coins into the economy things may change but as it stands now this game is doomed.
