For someone who were like 8-13 years old in 2015, was a PewDiePie fan and liked platformers this might be a great deal! However I am way over the age and out of PewDiePie community circle so it leaves me just a platformer, which aint an absolute disaster for gameplay works and you can even buy some power-ups to enhance your characters which may grab you interest for 2 hours in most so it might be worthy to pick this in sale and only in sale.

First of all -- I do not agree with the hatred this game gathers. Now to the story and actual review.

When I was on my early teens I picked a game from sale basket among few others. The game casket read as "Freelancer". Yeap you might already know where I am going here. Freelancer is the game which was groundbreaking in every layer when it came out and even when it's been two decades people still remember and refer it in almost every single time when some new action-spaceflight sim has been released.

So did I got the successor for the legendary game? No, but I got Chorus!! The game is just incredible cinematic piece, with great protagonist Nara who evolves throughout the story as a pilot but also as a character. You also meet numerous side characters among companion Forsa who fights with you throughout the game. After tiny linear tutorial the current system is freely to be explored and there is numerous side quests, which are not achieved on space stations but by exploring the environment. Making money as merchant or miner is not an option in this, but several quality side quests compensate that in my opinion. Chorus is strictly battle based, but dogfights are always great fun! There is also many random encounters with different factions to make money, which you use to upgrade your shield defenses and weaponry. There is 3 types of weaponry and while there might not be so much variation the Chorus has another feature in its arsenal.

Nara gets access into the Rites, magical abilities to deal with enemies and further you proceed the more of them you get. Nara also collects experience with rites and weapons and this should courage you to try different tactics to deal with enemies for all bonuses are significant and by adapting and learning you are able to do much cool stuff especially in the second half of the game.

Speaking of the end game the ending was a true example how to conclude the story! The final minutes the game turned to be a bullet hell in a good way, but what did take the cake was the few last cutscenes - my skin legit went goosebumps and emotions kicked in! I had my expectations low for some games fail to give that final blow, but Chorus scored and for the good!

After 18 long hours of flying and shootings I grant that Chorus can be a little bit repetitive and there is few aspects that are left simple. The playing with magics might not be everyone's cup of tea either, especially if one waits more factual setting. However I liked it and fell in love with it!

On 11 AM 11.11.1918 the guns went silent and first World War came to its end. The war which was bloodier and more gruesome than any war before. 11-11 Memories Retold is a masterpiece and takes its player to the last two years delivering a storyline which does not take sides and handles out the subject with human and subtle manner. It kind of reminds the another WW1 game Valiant Hearts: The Great War telling about two men on the different sides of the war, destined to clash to each otheron the front and make an unusual friendship which doesn't have common language. Only thing is to find out what they seek and then go back home to their loved ones.

Main characters are Harry, a young Canadian photographer and Kurt, a middle-aged German Engineer. On each chapter you are to pick one of them to play as, but I found that it did not matter for every scenario is shown. You just can pick the order. I loved how these twos different interests are shown by how they act through the game for Kurt fixes stuff and does war engineering and Harry has a camera to take photos from points of interests, which are big part of the game and become tangled as the story develops. In midpoint also two animal companions are presented and each of them bring new features and beauty to the game. There is lot of things to collect, a lot of things to do and you surely will miss something in first playthrough unless you are gonna use some guide.

The game feels and looks very unique for its clever choices and the graphics are refreshingly pleasing, having this Vincent van Gogh(ish) painted outlook. Music has a lot of wholesome tracks and the voice talents are wonderful including Elijah Wood, Sebastian Koch and William Hope.

If I should say a thing which makes this game a masterpiece is its atmospheric storyline and constancy of finding and collecting things related to the war and also giving a history lesson at the same time. It is an emotional ride delivering multiple endings, which each will reward you somewhat, but none of them are truely that "Golden Ending". To make armistice somebody has to kneel down even if it was a nation or a person, their pride or their fury - and just like in war everyone loses in the end.

Very strange mixture of parkour and walking sim with a good storyline, mesmerizing world and astonishing soundtrack. Valley needs even more praise than it has already gotten for its features could bring out the whole franchise of games and even movies! The manipulation of life and death is really good as a concept and it is such a shame that just like Slender The Arrival this other piece by the same devs has been let to fade slowly away. So go and give this game a chance! It is a blast from the past!

Slender The Arrival is one of the scariest games I've played but this is one of the most beautiful games I've played.

Totally recommended!! Nice story, mesmerizing characters, good mixture of action, puzzles and walking sim. Multiple endings that are all rewarding in their own way. I believe that if I went more specific in telling the storyline I'd just try impossible without spoiling too much. Just buy it and experience it!

Some looney actually made a proper remake from the first episode of boomer shooter Duke Nukem 3D. So this ain't just a launcher - there might be some other gems to be downloaded for free!

I wish I could go back in time and tell the game's devs that someday you guys are reviving a franchise that just was put to sleep for next 20 years.

Owkay, I have played plenty of Bodur's games and I purchased this with only 22 cents and completed it around in half an hour meaning that I had circa 1.5 minutes of content per cent. I can say it was ok, but there is not any feature that would be somewhat remarkable, so the game feels, meh and flat. There is so many better walking sims nowadays in Steam and ironically the dev himself is partly the reason, for Bodur's games have gotten so much better after this. Thus if I were you I'd look for them instead and leave this ancient games to their own value. Nephise might have had some value in the past, but now its thin content dries out before any chance of blossoming and is not worth of your time.

..Unless you are for achievement haunting only and want just to grind those out. It still won't raise the game's value.

This Land is your Land, This Land is my Land...

I love already the name "Walden, a game" with those low key letters. Walden is more an experimental project than an actual game. It does not hold much on its surface but under it is a great philosophic message about living freely and what actual freedom and strength is and boy - even the protagonist is voiced by Emile Hirch, the actor who starred in Into the Wild. Among him the other voice talents (including Jim Cummings) breath life to this well crafted title, which is also said to be used in education and why not there is quite much topics from history of US and also things which touch globally everyone.

I lived as a hermit throughout the game and I say it was interesting, but grindy progress that was boring but somewhat unforgettable.

Walden was made for you and me.
