Get yourself a cup of tea on a dark night and play this start to finish. Its an experience I don't think you can really get anywhere else. Don't watch any gameplay, just go for it.

An amazing story based game, would highly recommend you play it without spoiling it for yourself by watching videos or summaries.

I won’t spoil the story here, but it’s really amazing. It’s a very different experience to most games released nowadays and left me thinking about it for days after finishing it. The story has a very interesting message behind it and encourages you to research the developers and their stories more after completing it. The pacing is solid and the maps are very well designed. Don’t feel the need to rush the story; it is much better enjoyed when you take it slow.

The game is made in the source engine, so the graphics aren’t quite Battlefield 1, but they use a large variety of ambient lighting and shading to make even the source engine look very pretty. The games appearance also works in favour of the story, which will become apparent as you play through the game.

The soundtrack is very atmospheric, and fits the game very well. A large variety of songs are used and they all fit their respective environments perfectly in my opinion. The voiceover work is also fantastic, very well written and acted.

To conclude, buy this game and don’t read any summaries. Going in dry will not only make the game more enjoyable, but also leave a much greater impact on you. This is all just my opinion, but I do believe this game is amazing and definitely worth the buy to complete.

Before I begin you must understand reading about the plot will probably not make the experience as fun. Go in blind for the best experience.

Despite other reviewers saying the story in this game is lacklustre, I still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it even at full price.

The story itself features some of the best voice acting in games altogether in my opinion. The soundtrack is beautiful, and extremely atmospheric. The sound design is brilliant and fits the theme perfectly.

One of the prettiest games available, based off a concept by Olly Moss, a well-known artist. The scenery and setting is beautifully created, and is extremely engaging and immersive to explore.

The most criticised piece of the game, but I cannot agree with the people saying they are disappointed. If you don’t rush the game, and enjoy engaging novels this is still a brilliant game. The voice acting and depth of narrative well makes up for the ending, which i still believe is great.

Extremely good game with some of the best visuals and sound design available. If you are into game design, or just love action or crime novels definitely give it a go. With the addition of Free Roam and the Developer Commentary, that game is well worth the asking price! Free Roam is so relaxing and the Developer Commentary is one of the most in depth creations of this type available.

One of the most beautiful and stunning games, even with the short play time. Luckily you can go back and see the sights again with the chapter select, and experience each level again if you like.

An amazing soundtrack too which I can’t recommend buying enough.

This game is really fun, and has a massive variety of choices and solutions to ending the game. You could spend hours just messing about in the broom cupboard and it would still be fun. the voiceover work is probably up there as one of the best ever and the level design is excellent and atmospheric.

Really enjoyable experience, I've been playing since one of the earliest versions and its amazing to see how much new content and mechanics have been added. If you enjoy space sims, flight sims, building sims or just like building a goofy rocket to fire at the VAB then this game is for you!
