Fear 2 is a mix between a good fps and a bad a horror

Fear 2 is a weird a game.In order for me to properly review it I must look into it from two prespectives,an action one and a horror one.

Horror
F.E.A.R 2 as a horror game sucks.It lacks any of the things that makes a good horror game.The jumpscares are repetitive,boring,uninspired and predictable.I get scared quickly by even the horror games that people consider mediocre yet not this.I can't stop but realize that the developers didn't even try to make this game scary.The only good horror sections of the game are the ones where u have to fight some these ghost people/things in dark places but these sections only came like a handful of times.

Action
F.E.A.R 2 as an action game however,is really good.The weapons feel great.The enemies are fun to fight yet their AI is pretty meh.The action sections can be a bit repetitive but i enjoyed it.The enemy variety is pretty okay but it could have been better.The slow motion feature is pretty neat,i enjoyed messing around with it.It is pretty obvious the developers intended this game to be more action than horror.

Graphics/Performance
The graphics hold up very good as of 2019.Performance wise the game runs great i played it on a trash potato computer and it still managed to hit 20-30 fps on the lowest settings.So overall great performance.

Story/Characters
The game started out really interesting.I was always asking "Where are we?!!" "What are we doing here?!!"Who is this naked chick that keeps following me??" but then later a nuke hit and i stopped giving a ♥♥♥♥ from there.I have seen others say the game's story is great and it continues the events of the first game so idk cuz i didn't play the first game.The game basically continues from there,we go out,shoot stuff,follow some drunk guy,shoot more people,go to an island or some ♥♥♥♥ to destroy the naked chick following me around and then u get trapped and apparently ♥♥♥♥♥♥? by this chick and make her pregrant .The characters were meh i barely gave a ♥♥♥♥ about any.Overall i didn't enjoy the story but i can see why some other people did.

Price
Got the game from a friend so i can't really tell.

Half Life 2.....like is there anything to be said about this game!A true masterpiece created by Valve.The game that changed physics in gaming.A revolutionary game!!
The Story in this game is fantastic one of the best in gaming history.Going from the ruins of City 17 to Black Mesa East to Ravenholm....All of these were great experiences.Ravenholm is by far my favourite place in this game.
My only complain about this game is the combine AI.It is dumb compared to that of the Marines in Half Life 1.Also the guns in this game where..........meh,it didn't have any unique weapons like Half Life 1 did, excluding the Gravity Gun obviously that thing was amazing!!
Another thing this game does that annoys me so much is that it doesn't allow u to be what u want like in Half Life 1 u can be a bad guy and kill all the scientists,u can use them as bait,u can help them e.t.c.Half Life 1 gave u alot of options but this game doesn't.I understand they do that for the sake of the story but like come on Valve....

Overall,Half life 2 is an amazing game that I encourage everyone who owns a pc to play it.
