if phantasy star, phurries, or running the phuck around your foes is your thing, then this is a great game to pick up. once you unlock skill scrolls and classes at lvl 10, the game Really starts. just keep in mind this is still beta so they're still cooking up more game to come !! I love what's here already though.
also, there are a fair number of content toggles in case you aren't that type of gamer. I am unfortunately the target audience for this game tho /j

I loved this game 16 years ago, I freaking love it today. classic 2000s action rpg with great music, good writing that mixes tragedy and comedy, and an interesting world to explore and look at. the skills are fun to experiment with and blend together, once you get used to the somewhat funny controls. what if you had an apalogue that doubled in size every day?

while quite buggy in its current state, this game proves a strong and fun social game setting that's really a blast with the friends. after some development time and room for the modding scene to grow, I see this being a mainstay in my friend group. a wider variety of monsters and ways to film could really spice things up, but the core is definitely there and it's definitely a blast with the right people.

rounds are quick and fun, games are similar enough to build up a sense of strategy but are different enough to stay interesting, deckbuilding is light but you can put some thought into it after a while of playing, and uhhhhhhh. yeah I like furry dudes if you happen to not know me

I can't recommend the business practices of WotC or the stability of the game client itself. I just play this game a ton still. if you know me you know I got my bad habits lmao
