Very beautiful looking game, can't wait for full release. My only gripe would be that the movements in combat feel a bit clunky but it works either way and still delivers. But there is a delayed input feeling to it that I can't help but notice. Definite Wishlist :)

A far cry from it's initial incomplete release. The game's visuals had my jaw scraping the floor and is incredibly optimized/polished in it's current state- worth every penny. The characters you interact with feel alive and the story itself has re-playable value with it's different endings. All in all - zero regrets with my purchase, already sunk in about 40 odd hours and I expect a few 100 more to come in the future trying it with mods constantly being churned out by it's community.

I don't usually enjoy playing triple A titles but this game in particular has achieved it's full redemption arc and can very well be one of the best games of the decade.

Certified hood classic.

A very creative take on the detective/puzzle genre.

Pros:
- Simple yet appealing 2d illustrated graphics(top down)
- The voice acting is good.
- The mechanics are quite interesting and fresh.
- Every level is like an intriguing short story, with twists and unexpected humour.

Cons:
- Was way too short.


They made an odd choice mechanically by reloading a level completely if the timeline 'playhead' reached the end of all the events/timeline, since you most definitely need to scrub back to a previous timestamp multiple times to listen to other characters in the story to find connections. Just makes it awkward when it plays out and you're not done investigating.

If you ever fantasise about being that fly on the wall at the right time and place getting to the bottom of a huge conspiracy, this game is definitely for you. Completely worth it.

This game is actually pretty good but until they solve the connectivity issues to the server, I can't in the right mind recommend picking it up to anybody.

Cons

Horrible loading times, atleast 5 minutes of waiting here. I could live with this if not for the next point.

Disgusting connectivity issues with established server connection. It takes 5-10 minutes establishing a connection to the server and when it finally does i get booted off to the main menu when the connection is lost, which happens quite frequently. So it's a frustrating circle of reconnecting to the server and waiting for another loading screen- rinse and repeat. I really hope the devs are looking into this since it's apparently been a problem unresolved for a long time now. Please fix this or risk losing your player base.

It's really unfortunate because I actually love the game for what it is, if it weren't for the time wasted on the loading screen and server connectivity issues, all in all 15-20 minutes of loading every time I lose connection which is unacceptable tbh. I don't intend to refund the game since I'd like to give the devs the benefit of the doubt for stepping up and patching these issues up on full release so I can update this review in the future.

Not going to lie, there are a lot of things that need work but being in early access, this game is a lot of fun. Way more optimized than Pubg has ever been right from early access and developers seem to be quite responsive to players and not as arrogant. It's available for free atm but I'd actually pay for it if they do decide to sell it.

There are some trivial concerns about the gaijin client but this client can be stopped when not playing and the option to turn off seeding is in the launcher settings. The problem seems to have been blown way out of proportion by some people, quite simply in an attempt to slander the game's reputation imho.

I can't wait to see the state of the game on final release after they polish it up.
