It's incredibly grindy and boring - definitely wouldn't recommend. It's a bad PvE game combined with a bad PvP game. I guess combining them is supposed to make it better than the sum of it's parts, but all I can see if two crappy games pasted together.

If you imagine the PvE was it's own separate game, you realize you'd never want to play it. There are like 8 kinds of enemies with very little variety in behavior and not-at-all-interesting level design. If you want a good "fight robots after the apocalypse" PvE game - just play Horizon: Zero Dawn - It's way better.

If you imagine the PvP as it's own separate game, any shooter is better in terms of moving, shooting, and gun-customization mechanics. And you only have to grind for your weapon unlocks once in most shooters, instead of every time you lose a (potentially very unfair) gunfight in this game and lose all your equipment. The game doesn't respect your time at all.

I also felt bad every time my organized group of veteran shooter players completely spanked some group of randoms we came across. In a normal shooter you just spawn again and it's all in good fun - but in this game you just wiped out tons of progress and time of someone just trying to do their own thing or fight a robot boss.

Unfortunately, the extent of and nature of the grind and samey gameplay doesn't become apparent until you've played for a while and realize it isn't getting any better.

I tried to refund after only playing on release day, but Steam refuses because it's past two hours.

Seems like that limit should be higher for a multiplayer game like this that's supposed to be played for hundreds of hours and hardly let's you see anything in two.

Honestly, with how much monetization is in this game - it should be free-to-play. I'm not used to being spammed with monetization schemes this hard on a game you have to pay full price for.

I got ripped off here, so the best I can do is warn others. Avoid this one for sure.
