Okay, I got it.

Step 1: Release a SaaS.
Step 2: Put almost every functionality behind a paywall.

Very smart. Totally doesn't feel like a scam. Why are we so brainwashed and keep accepting this kind of blatant corporate shenanigans?

P.S.
These feeders offer the only possible way to lure certain (which are, actually, a lot) animals in the whole freaking game. It's basically a pay-2-win for the majority of the extremely hard missions on almost every reserve (e.g. "go to Balmont Lake and shoot two coyotes in the heart" BS), allowing you not to waste your time and camp for hours in vain like a gullible jackass.
It's also pay-2-win for certain species' "great one" grinding.

The demo is frankly bad and this game will need a lot more work (it runs bad on relatively powerful hardware (12th gen i7/64GB/4060), controls feel very bad, mouse control feels like I'm back in 1999, animals move like cartoons, etc.), possibly years, before it becomes something that people would want to play after willingly spending their money in exchange for fun times.
I did have high hopes of getting off CotW/WotH, but now I have less hope, unfortunately.

I do hope they keep doing their thing and that they have the money for sustaining themselves. I know how hard it is to do what you love and not having money to live.

Giving it the thumb up because of the idea behind it and because I am obviously biased, but I hope you can read. You have been warned.

Paywalling all of this and still not being able to lure coyotes with it is just too much for me to bear.

It's fun and allows for more options, but the majority of species that are lured by these are not so hard to hunt anyway.

If you're gonna take my money and make the feeders non-usable for certain species (e.g. Coyote, Eurasian Lynx, Bengal Tiger, etc.), then don't ask me for a thumb up.

I don't know how I didn't try this reserve for such a long time. It's alright. I don't get the "mixed" reviews (it's probably the classic "we've played it on release and we found all the bugs", which this game is famous for (and you should definitely NOT play any reserve right after release), e.g. it seems that the boats were not available for easier/faster crossing of the waters on release). You'll get the obligatory Southern accents, slide guitar blues theme, rich white people drama, racoons grubbing trash bins, n' all that immersive stuff.

There's also, unsurprisingly, cotton fields. There ain't no Sharps rifle in this game, but you could try to pretend you're re-enacting this scene with the Hawken .50 caliber muzzle-loader (paywalled) as well:

I almost forgot to mention that the USA is probably the most unique rich country on the Earth — where climate change and the civil rights movement are "way too controversial". *massive facepalm*

A lot of people are let down (expressed in their reviews), because this is paywalled and I do agree with them. My main criticisms towards the game (actually, its management) are in my review.

There is another problem with the ATV — it's still slow, which borderline defeats its purpose (covering some distance faster than sprinting). This problem is, thankfully, resolved with a mod:

After quick googling, it seems that IRL ATVs can reach 112kmph, which is around twice the speed limit of the in-game vanilla ATV.

Now, addressing the highly educated Swedish management: If you're going to twist my arm and force me to pay for a convenience (brilliant business decision, enjoy the cash flow, but don't be surprised by the backlash), at least make it so that I don't feel like I've just been ripped off. Thanks.

You really need this for the electronic caller, which is basically P2W. It weighs 3,5 kg and can call any animal that can be called on your current reserve. Any other specific lure weighs 0,5 kg, which means that without this 3,5 kg thingy, the potential of you having fun is severely reduced.
It is scummy, but the whole business model of this game is scummy anyway, so I'll give it a thumb up for the weirdos.

I don't really care about the .44 lever-action or the bow, and you shouldn't either.

Finally some new animals (martens, minks, and badgers)! Hard to believe, I know.
Lots of open spaces. A new 12-gauge autoloader.
And... finally... actually useful pre-determined concealment structures that are worth the money! Unbelievable, I know.
Mrs. McLachlan's accent is also fun to listen to.
