The game is really fun. I'm having a blast making allies, destroying a few potential ones, and just generally having fun beating everything up. Good game so far, looking forward to the hours ahead. EDIT, after 80 hours in the game.

If the game is too hard at first, either tweak the difficulty or try Turn Based mode, it was a godsend for my enjoyment, and Core was actually fun for me early on in the game. Retraining your character if it's not doing much is also ok, I've tried different builds classes etc, each time has been free for my PC, so if you want to change it up do that too. Don't let some bugs get you down, as a Teifling, my PC has this weird bug, same with Baldur's Gate 3 where his tail flips out and goes accross the screen on certain terrain, it's common, so if this would break enjoyment this is a warning. Have fun, there is tons of depth, and it will be easy to get lost. So far my most enjoyable game of this year.

Kept having my ♥♥♥♥ unequipped after EVERY dungeon. Pet too. Game is fun for the first 2 hours, after that the nostalgia goggles wear off. I'd say wait a bit.

This game is a masterpiece. It brings in fun combat and strategy together with expert mode, the hurdle to beat the moonlord the first time is definitely a tough one. I've always loved this game, and I'm excited for the final update.

I was an avid fan of the alpha version of cube world, which I assume many of you are. If you are, don't get this game. They changed everything I've loved about it and now its just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ grind with extra steps.
