This game made me laugh so much my jaw hurts 10/10 would hurt my friends again
(also don't listen to deaddave,sophont or redfire because they are angry).

One year ago i stumbled upon this game,i originally thought that it would be one of those cheap,barely a game,game.
however after buying this game on sale i had a huge amount of fun with it,and its unique take on the city builder genre made this game standout alongside the charming and vibrant art style and world generation,after every run you will tell yourself,"That game was good but how can i position my farms in a more optimal place."and"that placement was good but how can i do it better.",i revisited this game recently and cleaned up the last of my achievements and i have noticed a issue where the game doesn't change,you will always have the same buildings by the end and the linear progression can be a bit unappealing,however this is more of an issue with the rouge like genre itself and not islanders itself.
If you want a game where you can play for the best high score or the most optimal placements then this game is for you,but if you prefer games with a sense of progression and don't try for high scores then it may not be your cup of tea,but if you have a bit of money left over after buying that 7th AAA game then this game will be worth that price

Hades is a game with a ridiculously low price for the amount of enjoyment you can get out of it,it is both unique and experimental with its game play ,while also being captivating story wise,this is what a 10/10 game looks like and deserves to be a candidate for the "game of the year award",if you are debating on what game to get next then i encourage you to get Hades. i have nearly 100 hours on it and although i have completed multiple runs of the game the story is still going strong from the amount of dialogue to upgrading all the trinkets. do yourself a favour and try this game,you wont regret it.
