I just finished the game after 14.4 hours and had a blast. It's a fantastic mix of a side scrolling brawler which has you hunting monsters, and then going and cooking their parts in match-3 style. There are also mini games (jobs) in town to help you get more cash to buy more equipment and perks to help you on your journey. The game features great art, a stunning soundtrack and a wide variety of characters and monsters. This a game that is well worth the ride and journey to the end. There are 6 chapters and it was only the 5th one that dragged a little longer than it needed to. By the time the credits roll, you will feel like you just finished watching a movie or anime season/show. It's a full and memorable experience that is one of a kind and you owe it to yourself to play this game and see for yourself why it's so amazing. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great time with some replayability if you still desire more Battle Chef action! Vive la Brigade!
