I've had this game in my library for a few months before actually firing it up but after putting 40+ hours in the game, I regret not playing it sooner. Yes, there are still some issues with the game but the pros outweigh the cons by far.

Pros:
Story and characters are very good - Themes and ideas here are deep but accessible enough for almost anyone to enjoy to the very end. It's not just the main characters that get the love, the supporting characters shine as well.
Music - There are a few great standout tracks, but the star here is HOW the music is used in the game. I wish I could add why I felt it was so great, but I don't want to spoil anything.
Gameplay - Playing through this game is such a unique experience. One moment you're pulling off 3rd person melee combos, the next minute you're playing a top down shooter.

Cons:
Map Design - Some of the maps are a little confusing to navigate due to the different camera angles used so exploration was difficult at times.
Graphics - This is a bit more subjective, but I was really put off by their decision in color palettes. I know a rainbow of colors wouldn't fit the world, but it did make some of the scenery drab (Which might be what they were going for)
Difficulty - The game is a bit on the easier side, so if you're looking for a challenge, you might not find it here.

This game will stick with you long after the last hour you play, get through the cons and you'll be well rewarded for your efforts.
