I will start with the map, Al Mazrah combined all surfaces in one place having modern and authentic parts of a city, with beautiful landscapes at every step creating more variability than ever before with Caldera and Verdansk.

The realism was also upgraded in many areas like:

- Movement - slide canceling was fun at first but annoying at some point and so I do think that certain delays are good. You can still move great around the map and avoid danger and on top of this, I think it helps a lot of players that are beginners or intermediates and balance the game a bit.
- The prone takes longer as well, which also helps as before it was really hard to hit a player that instantly hit the floor and then slide cancel from side-to-side like crazy while also shooting at you.

One thing that I would update here is that you can't pick up right away a dropped weapon if yours has no ammunition, you have to wait for it to reload and then change it as it gives priority to the animation instead of the actual command.

- Jumping forward and swimming is also a nice touch that is also useful to get around the map, loving those dives!
- The grapple now allows multiple players at the same time and you can also jump and re-grab it easily which is useful in case you get close to the top and you hear someone. In this way, you can peek the top and jump without getting all the way up and be stuck in animation and killed.

- I find the proximity chat really funny and also useful, I think this is one of the best new things brought to the game.

The DMZ

Gotta say, first time I've played it I thought it was boring and useless but I wanted that M13 which I got and in this time frame, it really grew on me.
It's great to play with friends and focus on missions that are increasing in complexity and it gives you the chance to learn the map at the same time while building your favorite loadouts.

There are some bugs which to be honest is to be expected any time something new is launched, innovation comes through trial and error and this is present everywhere. I'm not saying that is not annoying having the game crashed in an important mission or while in squad battle royale but I also think that these will be worked on so we probably are a few updates away from a GOAT free game :)

It's an awesome game but very hard to learn, nonetheless beautiful to watch :)
